SwitchComm

SwitchComm is a windows based communication program used by DHSwitch clients as a mechanism to transmit claims and to receive feedback reports on the status of these claims. SwitchComm makes use of Telkom’s ViP-Dialup network. ViP-Dialup uses a single telephone number and calls are billed at local rates regardless of their origin.

SwitchComm includes SwitchViewer that provides the functionality to either view or print feedback reports and Electronic Remittance Advices. Feedback reports detail the status of claims submitted to medical aids through the switch and are a valuable claims management aid.

Update Program

If you are a current Medcomm user, and your program has not already been automatically updated to SwitchComm, you can download the Update Program which will start the update process. By selecting this option the Update2000.exe program will be downloaded. Running this program will enable your current Medcomm to upgrade to SwitchComm.
